CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship

This course is right for you if you want to progress further in childcare and are currently working under your own initiative, planning and organising your own work and supervising others.

The Level 3 Advances Apprenticeship consists of CACHE level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce; 12 hours First Aid; Employment Rights and Respoinsibilities unit; key skills at level 2 in Communication, Application of Number, ICT.

If you have appropriate GCSE grades they may exempt you from all or part of the key skills. 

Your performance, skills and competence will be assessed in the workplace throughout the duration of your course. There will be a monthly college evening the first Thursday of the month 6-9pm that all Level 3 learners will be encouraged to attend for underpinning knowledge and Key Sills training.

We will identify someone within the workplace who will mentor and support you during your qualification.

An allocated Eden Training assessor will visit you in the workplace every 6-8 weeks to plan with you, carry out observations and question you on knowledge evidence.

You work at your own pace but you should expect to take approximately 12 - 18 months to complete your advanced apprenticeship. Completion can be achieved more quickly depending on time, skills and commitment.  We encourage learners to use our e-portfolio system - Learning Assistant.
