Skills Funding Agency

Learners working towards an Apprenticeship (Level 2) or Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) are able to receive funding either in part or in full towards their training costs if they meet the eligibility criteria (no age restriction).

Learners completing a Level 2 Apprenticeship must be employed in the workplace for a minimum of 30 hours per week and may attend Eden Training college for 1 day a week (discussed and agreed at interview). Once a learner is over 17 years of age they are able to be included in the ratio if employed by the workplace.

All learners working towards Level 3 must be employed by the workplace and work for a minimum of 30 hours a week. Attendance is required one evening a month at Eden Training college to gain underpinning knowledge through teaching sessions and receive guidance on key skills.
